Magician Adam Steinfeld and writer Al Blanchard have authored Houdini Lives! The fanciful tale weaves around The Great Stanford, a cocky young magician out to make a name for himself. Set in 1966, Stanford discovers that Houdini faked his own death forty years earlier and has been living a very different life in Miami Beach ever since. Story is scattered over many genres, including mystery, comedy, romance, politics, the supernatural, and magic, with numerous cameo appearances by the biggest names in mid-'60s show biz.
